Sign the Let Texas Decide Petition
635,352 Texans are on record across all 254 counties. Add your name to the petition demanding the Texas Legislature put Texas independence on the ballot.
The Let Texas Decide petition is the broadest way to stand with the Texas Nationalist Movement. On its face it asks one thing: that the people of Texas be allowed to vote on their own future. It does not commit you to vote yes on independence. But signing it is not a throwaway click. It puts you on record as a supporter of the movement, one of more than six hundred thousand Texans counted the way Texas counts the members of a political party, by the public act each of them took.
The Texas Legislature has the constitutional authority to put the question of Texas independence on the ballot as a binding referendum. The Texas Independence Referendum Act is the legislative vehicle. 257 officials and candidates have committed to putting Texas first through the Texas First Pledge. The 2022 and 2024 Texas Republican Party platforms call for the referendum. That support reaches into every single one of Texas's 254 counties. The political momentum exists.
What does not yet exist is the bill on the Governor's desk. The Texas Legislature has the authority and the political support; what it lacks is the singular pressure that comes from a critical mass of constituents who have made their position public and visible. That is what this petition does. It adds your name to the record and makes your position impossible to ignore. Two minutes. Sign your name.
I affirm that the people of Texas have the inalienable right to govern themselves and to determine their own political future. I call on the Texas Legislature to put the question of Texas independence to a binding referendum of the Texas people, so that Texans may exercise their right under Article 1, Section 2 of the Texas Constitution to alter, reform, or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient.
