Marcus Ruiz Evans
President, Calexit
Marcus Ruiz Evans is President of Calexit, the campaign for California independence. He co-founded Yes California in 2014 and has written four books on the state's future, including California's Next Century (2012) and Calexit: Golden Guide to Independence.
A Fresno native with a degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Southern California, he spent more than ten years as a liaison between the State of California and the federal government on transportation grants.
