Method
Every economy except Texas is the World Bank's 2024 gross domestic product in current U.S. dollars (indicator NY.GDP.MKTP.CD). Texas is the Bureau of Economic Analysis's 2024 current-dollar GDP for the state.
Texas is placed in the World Bank list by size. The United States total, which includes Texas, is left in the list as published.
Nominal GDP at market exchange rates measures the size of an economy, not its people's standard of living. Rankings at purchasing-power parity differ.
